Warth Photo specializes in music and entertainment photography for publication, promotional, and commercial assignments. The business developed over the years working in photo editing, manipulations, and retouching for photographers seeking these services to free up more time for shooting as well as an assistant as a second shooter or helper. Though still part of the business, photo retouching and freelance assisting now plays a much smaller role in the development of Warth Photo.

With the focus on the music and entertainment industry, Warth Arts has secured various assignments for bands, solo musicians, promotional companies, and more.

Biography

Bio PhotoHello, my name is Michael Warth, and I am a freelance portrait and editorial photographer. For years my old hand-me-down 35mm 1953 Exacta camera was the primary camera I used to take reference photos for my drawings and paintings. I enjoyed photography but when I purchased my first digital camera I was hooked. The combination of computer, Photoshop and the digital camera made photography a "must do" art form I could not resist.

Over the years, I have edited and retouched more photos than I care to admit for several professional photographers. Not 100% satisfied, I decided to get out from behind the computer desk and make my own pictures. I really like the editing process, and will definitely continue doing it, but I equally enjoy making pictures and meeting interesting people. My excitement in the realm of photography is almost overwhelming. Photography, combined with my love of computers and fine art is what made me start Warth Arts so many years ago - Warth Photo plays an important role in my life long journey of living the creative life every day.
